Unique Possibilities opened its doors in June of 2006
hosting a storefront that represents many Maine artisans
with a focus on "Down East" - the Washington County
area of Maine. From Steuben to Danforth, we have   a
collection of extraordinary pieces from elegant wood
turnings to the beauty of our coastal waters captured on
canvas. We are a diverse collection of Maine artisans
and fine craftsmen that produce and sell unique, one of
a kind items to markets local and beyond.

Maine's Washington County area is noted, not only for its
bold coastline, lobster fishing and blueberries but for its
many talented artisans.   It is here that you find our
strong intention to produce quality and artful designs
that will remain ever present in each piece. It is also
here that you will find the jewels and treasures of
coastal living that can be gifted to many generations to
come - true heirlooms.

Our gallery store, located on Route 1 in Machias, Maine
now features over 80 artisans that continuously add
new items to our shelves through all the seasons. The
artisans featured in our village coastal shop don't mind
sharing with the customers the story of their work and
the history behind it.   If you have any questions
